Privacy at Crestalon
Clear about the information you share.
Project enquiries can include personal contact details, property information, and photographs. This policy explains how Crestalon handles that information and the choices available to you.
Our commitment
Collect what is useful. Protect what is entrusted.
Crestalon Construction Group Ltd. is responsible for personal information under its control.
We collect information for reasonable business purposes connected to renovation enquiries, project planning, customer communication, website operation, and measurement. We limit access to people and service providers who need it for those purposes.
Questions, access requests, and correction requests can be directed to our privacy contact at info@crestalon.ca.
Three practical principles
Privacy should be understandable in practice.
Purpose first
Information is collected to answer an enquiry, assess a project, deliver work, operate the website, or meet a legitimate legal obligation.
Limited access
Project information is available only to Crestalon and service providers supporting the website, storage, communication, and measurement systems.
Reasonable retention
Information is kept only while it supports the enquiry, project relationship, business records, security needs, or applicable legal requirements.
Scope
This policy applies to personal information handled by Crestalon Construction Group Ltd. through crestalon.ca, project enquiry forms, quote requests, email communication, and related customer interactions.
It does not govern websites or services operated independently by other organizations, even when this website links to them.

- basic technical information such as IP address, browser, device type, referring page, pages visited, and security logs; and
- analytics or advertising identifiers when those tools are enabled in accordance with the choices presented on the website.
Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information or images unrelated to the project.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to questions and quote requests;
- understand project scope, location, timing, and suitability;
- arrange site conversations, estimates, and project communication;
- send acknowledgement and follow-up messages;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and enquiry systems;

We do not sell or rent personal information.
Consent and your choices
By submitting an enquiry, you authorize Crestalon to use the information for the purposes described at the point of collection and in this policy. You may withdraw consent for optional uses by contacting us, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
You can decline optional analytics or advertising storage through the privacy controls provided on the website. Disabling optional measurement does not prevent you from browsing the site or submitting an enquiry.
Service providers and disclosure
Crestalon uses service providers to operate the website and communications. These may include Google Firebase for hosting, server functions, database records, and file storage; Namecheap Private Email for email delivery; and Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads for consented measurement and advertising.
Providers receive only the access reasonably needed to perform their services. Information may be processed or stored outside British Columbia or Canada and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a legitimate business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
Project photos and plans
Quote requests may include photographs or plans. These files are used to understand the proposed work and support follow-up discussions. Upload only files you have the right to share, and avoid including faces, identification documents, financial information, access codes, or other unnecessary personal details.
Submitted project files are not used as public portfolio material without separate permission.
Storage, safeguards, and retention
Crestalon uses reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, use, loss, or disclosure. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry, project relationship, business administration, security, dispute resolution, and legal requirements. When it is no longer required, it is deleted, anonymized, or securely disposed of.
Access, correction, and questions
You may request access to personal information Crestalon holds about you or ask that inaccurate information be corrected. We may need to verify your identity before responding and may be unable to provide information where an exception under applicable law applies.
You can also ask a question, raise a concern, or request deletion of information that is no longer required, subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations.
